The position will be located in either our Frankfurt or London Office and will be reporting to the Vendor Relations Manager, based in London. The role will be within a small team that is focused on supporting the euNetworks Sales and Customer Service Delivery teams during the bid, order and delivery phase of a customer opportunity. The team is focussed on those parts of the opportunity that are provided by third party suppliers, and the team is responsible for minimising cost of supplier services, whilst maximising quality and ensuring prompt delivery.
The team manages suppliers across a range of access technologies, including: leased managed services, IP transit, capacity, fibre, and ducts. The team is also responsible for purchase of telehouse and datacentre services.
The successful candidate will focus on the quoting and ordering phases of the Sales process as these relate to third party carriers and Datacentres, and as such will require commercial acumen, but will also need to have the ability to focus at a high level on technical solutions. The candidate will work across a range of EU countries, and therefore will need to be able to adapt to the different approaches to business that exist in these markets. Support and training will be provided by the whole team, but the successful applicant candidate will be expected to already understand the EU carrier and DC market and should already have a wide set of contacts and extensive experience of the market.
