  • Overview

    The position will be located in either our Frankfurt or London Office and will be reporting to Head of Vendor Relations, based in London. The role will be within a small team that is focused on supporting the euNetworks Sales and Customer Service Delivery teams during the bid, order and delivery phase of a customer opportunity. The team is focussed on those parts of the opportunity that are provided by third party suppliers, and the team is responsible for minimising cost of supplier services, whilst maximising quality and ensuring prompt delivery.


    The team manages suppliers across a range of access technologies, including: leased managed services, IP transit, capacity, fibre, and ducts. The team is also responsible for purchase of telehouse and datacentre services, and for the negotiation of agreements with private landlords for network access to targeted buildings where euNetworks requires a network presence.


    The successful candidate will require commercial acumen, but will also need to have the ability to focus at a high level on technical solutions. The candidate will work across a range of EU countries, and therefore will need to be able to adapt to the different approaches to business that exist outside the UK/ Germany. Support and training across the full spectrum of the pricing and quoting process will be provided by the whole team, although the successful candidate will already have a wide set of contacts and extensive experience of dealing with Carriers and colocation providers.

    • Providing daily support to, and taking instruction from, the Vendor Relations Manager to help process quotes, ordering, disconnections and renewals.


    Quote and Bid Support

    • Actioning and managing quoting requests via VSRs in SalesForce;
    • Maintenance of the quote queues in SalesForce;
    • Supplier communication to ensure quotes are being processed and received.


    Order and Disconnects

    • Actioning and managing order and disconnect requests via VSRs in SalesForce;
    • Maintenance of the order and disco queues in SalesForce;
    • Supplier communication and negotiation to ensure euNetworks are receiving the most competitive quotations to enable to progress with order placements.


    Analysis & Reporting

    • Invoice validation support for Finance when required (if VS is missing or different from carrier invoice);
    • Maintaining VS inventory in SalesForce (NetEX);
    • Creation of reporting and Dashboards in SalesForce to monitor internal performance against SLAs for our internal customers;
    • Supporting NetEX Data Integrity Dashboard in ensuring VS system is correct and up to date.


    Compliance Management

    • Working with an associated Carrier Relations Manager to finalise supplier agreements;
    • Working with an associated Carrier Relations Manager to establish KPIs to assess supplier performance and compiling information to assist in regular reviews of key suppliers in order to identify issues and improve performance;
    • Relationship management of preferred suppliers.



    • Produce task reports for the Vendor Relations Manager as required;
    • Conduct regular feedback surveys with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to monitor and improve quality and service
    • Act as a communication channel into euNetworks for all carriers and telehousing providers.


    • Degree or equivalent technical or commercial qualification in Telecommunications, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or Business related field
    • A minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a commercial organisation (preferably Telecoms);
    • An excellent communicator being able to work across country boundaries with an ability to form good working relationships with multiple carriers;
    • English and German language essential – French would be advantageous;
    • Strong analytical skills;
