  • Overview

    The position will be located in Frankfurt reporting to the Head of Carrier Relations.  The role will be within a small team that is focused on supporting the euNetworks Sales and Customer Service Delivery teams during the bid, order and delivery phase of a customer opportunity. The team is focussed on network elements provided by the third party suppliers. The team also negotiates the most optimal cost structure of third party tails while ensuring maximum quality and prompt delivery of supplier services.

     

    The team manages suppliers across a range of access technologies, including: leased managed services, IP transit, capacity, fibre, and ducts. In addition, the team is responsible for purchase of telehouse and datacentre services, and for the negotiation of agreements with private landlords for network access to targeted buildings where euNetworks requires a network presence.

     

    The successful candidate will require technical acumen and strong problem solving skills to drive deliveries of 3rd party solutions in a timely manner. The candidate will work with  suppliers and internal stakeholders across a range of EU countries, and therefore will need to be able to adapt to different approaches to business and appreciate cultural differences within euNetworks as well as supplier organisations. The role requires somebody with the ability to develop both internal and external relationships at all levels of seniority, and to be able to leverage these relationships to provide exceptional customer experience.

     

    Support and training will be provided by the whole team. The successful applicant will work closely with Vendor Pricing and Carrier Relations Managers to provide support across a full spectrum of ordering, disconnection and jeopardy cases.

    Responsibilities

    General

    • Project manage quote, order and jeopardy funnels internally to drive prioritisation of business critical requests. Lead resolution of jeopardy delivery cases across all levels of management within third party vendors (from technical delivery to senior management) while managing customers’ frustrations, expectations and requests. Drive IT development requests to optimise and automate processes leading to quicker quote & order turn-around times, improved data integrity, and increased overall productivity.

    BAU Project Management

    • Consolidate and deliver weekly quote and order updates to internal stakeholder teams (CSD - Customer Service Delivery, E&D – Engineering & Network Deployment, Fibre – Metro Deployment);
    • Manage changes to internal and external customer service requirements;
    • Project manage timing and execution of the sensitive order deliveries;
    • Engage, collaborate and build deeper relationships with suppliers to ensure appropriate level of commercial and technical support required;
    • Escalate and resolve jeopardised service deliveries while project managing supplier and internal teams (technical and commercial).

     Jeopardy Management

    • Consolidate and deliver weekly jeopardy cases updates to internal stakeholders (CSD - Customer Service Delivery, E&D – Engineering & Network Deployment, Fibre – Metro Deployment);
    • Develop relationships with the delivery teams in supplier organisations;
    • Log and maintain escalation matrices and log with SalesForce tool;
    • Coordinate internal resources and third party vendors for flawless service deliveries;
    • Escalate and resolve jeopardised service deliveries while project managing supplier and internal teams (technical and commercial);
    • Manage customers’ frustrations, expectations and requests.

     Disco Management

    • Drive automation process improvements of disco triggering in SalesForce;
    • Action and manage disconnect requests with suppliers and within SalesForce;
    • Cost avoidance initiatives including development and implementation of cross-connect disconnection processes;
    • Develop change for the current RRU (Replace, Renew and Upgrade) process working alongside the IT Development and internal stakeholder teams;
    • Negotiate Early Termination Fee conditions and manage order flows to minimise disconnection penalties.

     IP Development

    • Drive process establishment and automation within SalesForce;
    • Immediate projects: disconnections, indexation, VSR/VS improvemetns, internal alerts, supplier credits requests

     

    Analysis & Reporting

    • Support invoice validation for Finance, when required (if VS is missing or different from carrier invoice);
    • Maintain VS inventory in SalesForce (NetEx);
    • Create reporting and dashboards in SalesForce to monitor internal performance against SLAs for our internal customers;
    • Support NetEX data integrity dashboard in ensuring VS system is correct and up to date.

    Qualifications

    • Degree or equivalent technical or commercial qualification in Telecommunications, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or Business related field;
    • A minimum of 5 years work experience in a commercial organisation (preferably Telecommunications);
    • Languages: English – essential, German - desired, French - advantageous;
    • An excellent communicator being able to work across country boundaries with an ability to form good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
    • Experience working with SalesForce.com is preferred;
    • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills;
    • A fast learner with strong analytical skills;
    • Demonstrated skills in collaboration.
