    euNetworks leads the market in data centre connectivity, directly connecting over 350+ in Europe today, with further data centres indirectly connected. We are also a leading cloud connectivity provider, connecting 14 cloud platforms; and have a growing presence in the developing macro-cell and small-cell market for fibre connectivity. Our product set of Fibre, Wavelengths and Ethernet is bundled to deliver bandwidth solutions for our customers, from euTrade to Cloud Connect, DC Connect and euSpectrum.

    Responsibilities

    The purpose of the role is to provide immediate technical support for our Content Customers and customer activation support. Provide deep technical knowledge of the network platform in daily operations. To analyses complex problems on existing services and maintain the consistency of deployed configurations, releases and protocols. To assist and provide support for platform or node migrations during scheduled maintenances. Provide support to the TSEs as part of the CNO delivery process and also to the CSD and CAS teams in times of heavy work load.

     

    Responsibilities include:

    • Troubleshoot complex problems on the network platform
    • Working within a team focused on Service delivery for our content customers
    • support complex change during Migrations/ Extensions of the Network in Scheduled Maintenance Windows
    • Configure active network elements, deployment according to euNetworks standard, contribute to the development of the standards upon new requirements
    • Execute administrative tasks for customer activation
    • Handle configuration change on existing services and disconnects 
    • Provide technical documentation and internal trainings
    • Implement and maintain network Security
    • Support remote turn-ups for logical service configuration with Service Delivery teams
    • Interact with Sales and Sales Engineering for Feasibility Statements for non-standard customer requirements 
    • Identify process gaps and inefficiencies and work with all departments to optimise the data

    Qualifications

    • Prior experience of working in a NOC or managed services environment
    • Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously and on occasion outside normal working hours
    • Sound diagnostic capabilities and basic fault resolution skills
    • Good understanding of layer 2 switching and layer 3 routing
    • Understanding of the WAN technologies including MPLS, Ethernet circuits (1,10G and 100G), IP and Leased Lines
    • Prior use of monitoring systems
    • Experience with procedure and processes for Incident, Problem, and Change management controls
    • Experience preferable with Infinera, Juniper and Ciena platforms
    • Good understanding of wdm infrastructure technologies
    • Understanding of routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF
    • Good Project Management skills
    • Has excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of the business
    • Fluent in English
