The overall purpose of this role is to provide technical support to the European Sales Engineering and Sales teams directly supporting key accounts for euNetworks in Europe. Full training, career development and support will be provided.

Main Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for technical questions from the Sales Teams
  • Assist a High Volume Sales Team to compile quotes and draft orders
  • Support large scale bids and collect necessary technical information
  • Responsible for providing basic level technical support to a team of account managers
  • Refer complex and bespoke customer requirements to sales engineer in cooperation with the Sales engineering Manager
  • Collect customer information for extended services
  • Verify technical specification for off-net requirements
  • Ensure effective handover from Sales/Sales Engineering to Deployment Team
  • Verify the overall technical integrity of the solution and be accountable for the cost effectiveness of the solution
  • Ensure workflow between Sales and Vendor Management (3rd party services)
  • Ensure workflow between Sales and Fibre Planning
  • Work closely with Architecture & Engineering to determine lead times and
  • capacity availability
  • Translate the organisational learning from the role to improved work processes



  • A Bachelors Degree in a technical subject, preferably telecoms or electronics oriented
  • 2 years' plus experience in the telecommunications sector 
  • Broad understanding of optical communications (DWDM, CWDM, OTN), dark fibre, Ethernet and Internet is essential
  • Applications skill including Microsoft Office applications, Google applications i.e. Google Earth (or GIS experience), and OSS / project management tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good self presentation and professional demeanour, a strong personality who can demonstration logical thinking 
  • Good presentation and customer-facing skills 
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Fluent English is essential
