The position will be located in Frankfurt and will be reporting to a Vendor Relations Manager, also based in Frankfurt. The role will be within a small team that is focused on supporting within delivery phase of a customer opportunity. The team is focussed on those parts of the opportunity that are provided by third party suppliers, and the team is responsible for minimising cost of supplier services, whilst maximising quality and ensuring prompt delivery.

The team manages suppliers across a range of access technologies, including: leased managed services, IP transit, capacity, fibre, and ducts. The team is also responsible for purchase of telehouse and datacentre services.

The successful candidate will require commercial acumen, but will also need to have the ability to focus at a high level on technical solutions. The candidate will work across a range of EU countries, and therefore will need to be able to adapt to the different approaches to business that exist within the countries. Support and training will be provided by the whole team. Although the successful candidate will already have a wide set of contacts and extensive experience of dealing with Carriers and colocation providers inside and outside Germany, and will ideally have some project management experience.

• Manage implementation of 3rd party orders to meet customer expectations and deliver order revenue in line with business commitments

• Manage customer orders to meet or exceed internal metrics, providing regular reporting on order status including risk management and jeopardy resolution

• Escalate up vendor management chains as necessary if delivery time lines are at risk on vendor deliverables

• Coordinate with eunetworks customer delivery organisation to ensure the seamless handover of services to our customers 

Order and Disconnects

• Actioning and managing disconnect requests via

• Maintenance of the order and disco queues in

• Developing and maintaining delivery contacts and relationships with key suppliers, including points of escalation

• Actively managing suppliers for earliest possible delivery of third party services;

• Escalating and managing escalation of suppliers where delivery dates are outside of customer expectations or delivery dates are missed

Analysis & Reporting

• Maintaining VS inventory in SalesForce (NetEX)

• Creation of reporting and Dashboards in to monitor internal performance against SLAs for our internal customers

• Supporting NetEX Data Integrity Dashboard in ensuring VS system is correct and up to date

Compliance Management

• Working with an associated Carrier Relations Manager to establish KPIs to assess supplier performance and compiling information to assist in regular reviews of key suppliers in order to identify issues and improve performance;

• Relationship management of preferred suppliers


• Conduct regular feedback surveys with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to monitor and improve quality and service

• Act as a communication channel into euNetworks for all carriers and tele housing providers


• Degree or equivalent technical or commercial qualification in Telecommunications, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or businessrelated field

• A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a commercial organisation within Telecoms

• An excellent communicator being able to work across country boundaries with an ability to form good working relationships with multiple carriers

• English and German language essential – French would be advantageous
